Handbuilt in UK by legendary MTB brand Saracen in the mid-80s, this frame exhibits beautiful build quality and comfortable yet responsive geometry for an incredibly smooth ride.  

Features vintage Shimano Deore groupset with 3x7 gearing, big swept-back trekking bars for comfort and class, and new Tektro U-Brakes. Completely stripped back and rebuilt by us with new cables, chain, cassette, pads, grips, bars, brakes etc. 

This bike is BIG and will suit riders 180cm+ who are looking for a stylish and unique ride which is supremely smooth, fast and will take whatever you can throw at it.

Saracen Vintage Steel MTB

Here's a lovely little hybrid / commuter in near new condition from trusted NZ brand Avanti.

It's got 3 x 7 gearing from Shimano + responsive V-brakes, bit of suspension up front as well as in the seatpost, and a light weight aluminium frame.

If you need a simple a -> b bike, or have a small friend or relative looking for a straightforward ride, this might just be the one for you. It is safe, reliable and responsive and prioritises comfort and stability. 

As stated, it is in very good condition and hasn't done more than 100km in its lifetime. Nonetheless, we've given it a little service to make sure everything is tip top. It would suit riders approx 145cm - 160cm.

Avanti Discovery 'Sport' Hybrid

On this bike, famed bike firm Cannondale says - 

"The Synapse might just be the perfect road bike. Supple and comfortable. Light and fast. Composed, capable, and easy to ride hard on all kinds of roads." 

While 'perfect' is a pretty strong word, we are sure this bike would make a great entry / mid level steed for a rider on the smaller side. 

It features an aluminium frame and carbon fork, Shimano 105 gearing (2x10), FSA chainset and Tektro dual pivot brakes. 

We have rebuilt it with new chain and cassette, cables, tube and tyres (Schwalbe Lugano), bar tape and NEW brake calipers. 

Please note that the wheels are not a match and the original Shimano front has been replaced with a (superior) Mavic Aksium wheel. 

Besides a few little blemishes, this bike looks great and rides very well. It is suitable for those around 150cm -> 165cm.

Cannondale Synapse Roadie

Here's a sweet n simple hybrid we've rescued for a new life of adventure. It is reasonably lightweight, super comfy and easy to ride. As a step-through, this bike is a little easier to get on and off than a regular frame, so is ideal for less flexible riders or those who may experience some difficulties with movement and mobility. 

It features an aluminium frame, suspension forks and seatpost, Shimano gearing (3x8) and Tektro v-brakes. We've rebuilt it with a few new parts, and the bike was in quite good condition when we received it. 

It is a medium-sized frame for riders around 160cm -> 175cm.

Avanti Discovery Hybrid

Here's a great little mountain bike from Giant, AKA the world's biggest bike brand. 

This bike features quality parts including a 3 x 8 drivetrain from Shimano + hydraulic disc brakes from Tektro + lightweight aluminium frame. It's in great condition and has been fully rebuilt with new chain and cassette, brake pads, grips and cables + some nice new 'Nobby Nic' tyres from Schwalbe. 

The bike is in great condition and is a whole lot of fun to ride. It's quiet and smooth with highly responsive brakes and fast, accurate shifting. 

It's probably an adults XS or a medium kids size bike. It would make a wonderful gift for a youngster with a desire to do a little off-road riding.

Giant Talon MTB

Relive your youth and young adulthood with this kewl and kapable steel steed from big kids bike brand SE. 

This bike will allow you to blend in with those smug fixie kids, partaking in their 'alley cats', 'bike polo', and 'smoking cones in hyde park' - little do they know that your bike is in fact packing THREE (3) gears courtesy of the Shimano Nexus 3 hub. It also has a coaster brake (back pedal brake) for mad skidz. 

This bike is a little beaten up in places but we've restored it as good as we know how. It's got a few new bits on it - cables, grips, brake pads etc. - and is running very nicely. More importantly, it looks cool and is sure to attract whichever type of people you happen to desire, unless you don't desire anyone, in which case it won't. 

It's a med-lrg frame and will suit riders around 170 - 185cm. Would make a great commuter / pub bike / weekend adventurer.

SE LAGER Street Basher

Here's a delightful step-thru hybrid in a lovely shade of purple I would call Neon Aubergine.

Ideal for those seeking a comfortable, stable and easy ride that is nonetheless fairly lightweight and agile. 

Pros: 
- Quality Shimano gearing (3x7) with wide range for tackling all gradients
- Creature comforts including big wide saddle, adjustable stem and kickstand
- Suspension forks and seatpost for a plush ride
- Wonderful, near new condition

Cons: 
- None 

This bike presents as near new, and has been fully serviced by us before becoming available. 

It is allegedly a LARGE, but I believe it is closer to a medium and should work for riders from around 160cm to 175cm.

Apollo Altura Hybrid

Bridgestone are known down under for tyres, however in the US and Japan their bikes are fairly common and synonymous with quality workmanship. Some models sell for thousands of dollars, and for good reason. 

I suspect that this one was brought over from the US rather than sold here so you can be confident that no one else will have one like it. 

Anyhoo it's got a cool + classy paintjob and clearly is a cut above in terms of build quality. Burly stem in matching colors with a curious cable stop for cantilever brakes. It's made from Japanese Tange MTB steel which is strong and lightweight and has a fun little yellow sticker on the seat tube. 

Given its soft colourway we would love to turn this into a laid-back street cruiser for long autumn rides but open to something a little more XTREME if you'd like.

Bridgestone MB4 Trailblazer MTB

Gorgeous cro-mo mountain bike frame from one of the early instigators of riding bicycles down mountains. This one is early-mid 90s and exhibits that era's looong MTB geometry. 

Paintwork is 8/10 and frame is altogether straight and mostly unmarked. Right now it has some crummy suspension forks fitted but we can swap them out for something rigid. 

'Designed in USA - made in Taiwan'. This thing is very well made and will be with you for years to come. It would make a really nice and comfortable commuter or tourer.

Gary Fisher Rangitoto Steel MTB

Truly a creature of the early 90s, this would have been a fairly high-end offering from Giant.

This frame should be fast, lightweight, compliant and track very well. It features aero forks, 'fastback' seat post mechanism (whatever that is...), fine quality Giant-produced 4030 cr-mo tubing and quality rear dropouts stamped with a nice little Giant logo. 

More importantly, this frame features a way out 'Newtown' themed colourway in great condition, perfect for letting everyone know where you stand on contemporary issues of note.

This will make for a great retro roadie rebuild, fast and comfortable commuter or deluxe pub bike. It's for the taller rider, ideally 180cm+

Giant Peloton Superlite Roadie

Cro-mo frame from ubiquitous firm GT back when paintwork meant something. Alongside Klein, GT were well known for their eye-catching colourways, and it is rare to see them in this condition. 

Their hallmark was the 'triple-triangle' frame design, which we think looks pretty cool. Anyway, this frame is rigid, bullet-proof and reasonably lightweight. It is smallish-medium but has long geometry so may be suitable for taller riders. 

Chuck a basket on the front and the Instagram stories will write themselves...

GT Tequesta Steel MTB

Japanese manufacturer Miyata is no longer a heavy hitter in the bike world but is one of the oldest and most distinguished firms, with origins stretching back to the late 19th century. From our experience, bikes from Miyata were of a simple design but always exhibited extremely high build quality, evoking a certain 'handmade' feel absent in many other companies' offerings. 

This frame is no different - from the 'Miyata' stamped at the top of the seat stays, the very clean welds and lugwork, the adjusters at the rear dropout, and the abundance of eyelets for rack and accessory mounts - this frame is clearly *very* well built. It is made in Japan from Miyata's own 'Spline Triple-Butted Chrome Molybdenum Tubes' and includes the original riser quill stem for a laid-back ride position (if that's your thing). 

Unfortunately the main sticker on the drive-side has been lost but the other side is intact (and is very cool). 

This would make a nice city bike or steel tourer. Please note that the rear brakes are u-brake only, while the front brakes are v-brake or cantilever.

Miyata Valley Runner Vintage MTB

Here's a mysterious frame from an obscure German bike brand 'Diamant' now owned by Trek. 

It features an uncommon combination of 700C wheels with generous clearance alongside posts for cantilever / V-brakes. It lacks mounting points for racks or other accessories. As such we are calling this a vintage gravel bike. It would be a great option for shorter cycle tours, overnight sojourns rather than multi-day trips. It should accommodate 700 x 37C tyres at least, maybe a bit wider.

The frame is surprisingly lightweight and is likely made from Cro-Moly or possibly another exotic steel alloy. We suspect this frame will make for a very nice, springy and responsive ride. 

Build quality is very good, and paintwork is in good condition with a few marks here and there.

Diamant Steel Tourer

Simple, dependable Cro-Mo MTB frame from famed manufacturer Diamondback. Build this up as a modest commuter or a big burly street basher. 

This frame rides well and can take a whole lot of punishment (if that's your thing). It's probably older than you and will still be around when you're deep in the ground. Also has an understated yet eye-catching black and purple colourway. 

This is another of those longish geometry vintage MTBs so would be a comfy ride for the taller rider. We've seen a few tasteful rebuilds of this exact frame on the 'gram and they always look great. Set of Maxxis tyres and a rack on the front is all you need. Or maybe something more imaginative? Either way if you've got the dosh we can make your dreams come true.

Diamondback Topanga MTB

Highly collectable frame from Specialized back when they were making some cutting edge stuff. 

This is an aluminium made-in-USA frame with some nice details. According to its stickers it is a 'Direct Drive' and 'M2 Metal Matrix X-BUTTED' frame. We don't really know what this means but this is surely a very well made and lightweight frame with compact geometry and sloping top tube. 

This frame would have been among the first to feature the modern threadless 1 1/8" system, and in this case includes a very nice Cane Creek headset. Besides this it is currently fitted with some quality Manitou Skareb suspension forks with aluminium stanchions, but if you would prefer rigids that is _definitely doable_.
